This club is situated at Sungei Besi, 17 km from Kuala Lumpur City Centre at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has a major horse racing course which garners a lot of attraction. This club has a rich history of horse racing which was a lavish pastime for the rich and famous of Kuala Lumpur in the earlier days. In 1992 the Selangor Turf Club was relocated from where the current World's tallest Twin Towers stand to the Sungei Besi area. The racing season which is followed with great fervor here starts in January and continues till December with 30 race days scheduled every year.
