An all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace, he has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the most exciting young prospects in Irish cricket.
Born and raised in Cape Town, Neill impressed from an early age with his leadership qualities and consistent run scoring. On a tour of the UK in 2022, he underlined his batting pedigree with a series of commanding centuries. His Irish roots soon opened the door to new opportunities, where he continued to refine his skills and showcase his all-around potential.
Initially a batter who bowled off spin, Neill later switched to seam bowling after coaches recognised his natural rhythm and ability with pace.
