Xavier Marshall was named the 'Youth Cricketer of the Year' for the West Indies in 2005 and made his international debut in the same year. However he has had a quiet start to his international career and has not shown glimpses of the promising batsman that he was in the domestic arena. Apart from his batting, he is also a brilliant fielder with a safe pair of hands. Marshall will be looking to retain his place in the national playing eleven and match his international statistics with the form and poise that he has shown at the domestic circuit.
