Monu Kumar is a domestic Indian Cricketer, who plays for his home state, Jharkhand. He made his T20 debut for Jharkhand in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2015-16 season. He is an addition to Jharkhand's already potent fast bowling attack including Varun Aaron and Rahul Shukla in the
bowling line-up. Monu is an all-rounder who bowls and bats right-handed. He was a part of India’s squad in the 2014 U-19 World Cup.

Monu was bought by the Chennai-based franchise in the Indian
T20 league 2018 auction. Till now though he has not got the opportunity to play for the team due to the impressive pool of players the team possesses.
