6.48pm  Phil Salt, the victorious skipper of Team Abu Dhabi says that he is very happy with the performance. Adds that they spoke before the game that every game from hereon would be a knockout and they prepared accordingly. Mentions that their plan is always to pick up wickets no matter the runs conceded, but taking wickets is crucial in this format. Says that they had a few good games and a few bad games up to this point, but now there will be no second chances and they will have to be at their best.

6.48pm  Noor Ahmad is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his amazing bowling performance. He says that for him, the special wicket was Colin Munro's as he hit him for a couple of boundaries, and he picked it up by deceiving him. Concludes that he was just bowling in the right areas, and he is pretty happy with delivering in this game.

6.47pm  Presentation Time...

6.47pm  Northern Warriors, on the other hand, will be disappointed with their whole performance and they have only themselves to blame here. The bowlers just did not have enough runs on the board and the effort in the field was also lackluster. While batting, Finn Allen and Trent Boult were the only ones with significant contributions. Azmatullah Omarzai and Saqib Mahmood got a wicket each. For Team Abu Dhabi, Noor Ahmad bowled a magical spell earlier in the game picking up four wickets while Adam Milne also made his presence felt with a couple of important scalps. The batters followed it up well and now all their focus will be on the playoffs.

6.43pm  Chasing a moderate score, Team Abu Dhabi lost Phil Salt early despite him getting a life. Kyle Mayers opened alongside him and justified that spot hitting it at every corner of the park. Jonny Bairstow came and played a small cameo to keep the momentum going. However, it was Laurie Evans who played a quick-fire knock and supported Mayers who remained unbeaten on 34 off just 14 balls and took his side home in style.

6.38pm  A dominating victory from Team Abu Dhabi! With that, they secure their spot in the playoffs as well and will take a lot of confidence and momentum with them. This result also means that the New York Strikers are knocked out of the tournament. All is not lost for Northern Warriors, they will have to depend on the Delhi Bulls losing by a huge margin in their last game to make it to the next round.
