11.25pm  Jess Jonassen, PLAYER OF THE GAME, says it was about her batting today not that much about bowling. Adds she did go for a few runs with the ball in the end. Says she is happy to get over the line. Also says it is always a great contest against Alyssa Healy.

11.22pm  Meg Lanning says it is a good start to the tournament. Adds that their batting has been great. Tells she has enjoyed batting in India. She hopes she continues to do well. Praises the knocks of Jess Jonassen and Jemimah Rodrigues and feels that picking early wickets certainly helped them. Shares that the local Indian players have been quite friendly and she has started to know them a little bit.

11.14pm  Alyssa Healy says things did not go as per plan, they gave a lot of runs towards the end and lost far too many wickets early. Adds that Shabnim Ismail was really good and she did what we expected from her but they will look at what they can improve. Feels like 180 could have been chasable. States they were trying to get a partnership, they needed someone to hang in there with Tahlia McGrath but that did not happen. Also says they are doing most of the things well, it is about the mindset, had they hung onto two catches, things might have been different.

11.12pm  ... PRESENTATION TIME ...

11.09pm  For Delhi, Jess Jonassen was absolutely brilliant with the ball. Shikha Pandey also had a very good outing and Alice Capsey impressed yet again. However, the others took a real pounding at the hands of Tahlia McGrath but because of the innings earlier on by Meg Lanning, it is a big win for Delhi.

11.08pm  A comfortable win then for Delhi! To be honest, it is their batters who set it up, 211 was just never going to be easy and that was the case. The start was decent by Healy but they then lost wickets quickly. Tahlia McGrath and Deepti Sharma did try to re-build but the run rate kept creeping up. Deepti Sharma then fell and it was all onto Tahlia McGrath. She did play a brilliant knock but it was just too much of an ask for her.

OUT! TAKEN! Jess Jonassen has another one. Played a handy cameo with the bat and now is bowling brilliantly. Radha Yadav takes a good catch again! On middle, Devika Vaidya steps out and lofts it towards long on. Does not connect that well. Radha Yadav makes no mistake.

10.13pm  DRINKS! UP are completely on the back foot! They need a miracle to win the game from here. They do have two really good players out there but they need to play special knocks. Delhi on the other hand, will want to continue the good work they have done so far.

9.57pm  Deepti Sharma walks in.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! On a length and some extra bounce, outside off, Shweta Sehrawat looks to cut it but gets a slight top edge. It carries and Taniyaa Bhatia behind the sticks makes no mistake. UP go three down in a jiffy and are in a spot of bother now!

OUT! CAUGHT! Jess Jonassen strikes again. This is full and on off, with a hint of trun, Kiran Navgire moves forward to loft it but mistimes it completely. It goes up in the air and  Alice Capsey takes a fine catch at long off. Kiran Navgire walks back into the shed.

OUT! TAKEN! Slower ball does the trick. Fuller and on off, turning away, Alyssa Healy moves forward to loft it but gets a thick outside edge. It carries towards backward point. Radha Yadav settles under it and takes a fine catch. Alyssa Healy's cameo comes to an end!

9.25pm  The target is a big one, UP will need to bat out of their skin if they are to chase this down. Delhi on the other hand will back their bowlers to defend this. Join us for the chase in a bit.

9.25pm  UP just could not make use of the swing earlier on. Shabnim Ismail was a tad unlucky too but overall the bowling just was not upto the mark. The fielding was also under par. Except for Shabnim Ismail, all their bowlers went for over 10 per over.

9.24pm  Another top class performance from the Delhi batters! Once again it is their skipper who led from the front. She along with Shafali Verma got them off to a flier. Shafali Verma could not go on but Meg Lanning did. There was a time in between where Delhi lost a few wickets quickly but cameos from Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues and Jess Jonassen has taken them to a score which they should defend.

9.04pm  DRINKS! UP have done well after the last break but Delhi are still in a very strong position. They are on course to score something over 185 and they will hope to get above that. UP on the other hand , need to do what they have been doing so far and that is taking wickets. An important passage coming up.

OUT! TAKEN! Alice Capsey's short but entertaining innings comes to an end! This is the exact reason why Shabnim Ismail was got on and she gets the wicket of Alice Capsey! Capsey makes room, Shabnim Ismail follows her and bowls it fuller. Alice Capsey mistimes it towards cover. Sophie Ecclestone takes it in the cover region.

This is fired on middle, Meg Lanning goes back and looks to push it through the off side but misses and it hits the stumps. End of yet another outstanding innings from her. She had a chance to score a ton but falls now.

8.17pm  Good news! The rain has stopped and the covers are coming off. Should not be long before we resume.

8.10pm  DRINKS! Delhi are off to yet another excellent start and thanks to Meg Lanning who is on a half ton. More of the smae is what they will want after the break. UP on the other hand, will want wickets and quickly. If not, they will be chasing a big target. Also, just as we write this, the covers are coming on as it has started to rain and the players make their way off.

Informs they are playing the same side. Adds it is a new day and they will need to play well again, they have a deep batting line-up and it is going to be a good challenge.

7.01pm  Alyssa Healy says they want to bowl as there is a lot of grass and they have a solid bowling attack. Informs Grace Harris sits out and Shabnim Ismail comes in. Mentions they have some good local players and it is going to be a real test in this game.

6.29pm  The tournament is moving along nicely and we are into game 5. It is a clash between Delhi and UP. Both sides won their first game. Delhi beat Bangalore quite convincingly whereas, UP came from behind, they were down and out but thanks to Sophie Ecclestone and Grace Harris they got over the line.
