Match Details
Match: Periyar Panthers vs Panchala Pride
Date: 20th December
Time: 5:00 PM IST
Preview:
Periyar Panthers will take on Panchala Prides in the second game of the day. Panthers started their third round with a boost of confidence against their seven points win over the Arrows. With this, the Panthers would look to continue this momentum forward with another win here. Pride, on the other hand, is coming back from an exciting game in which they lost at the end against the Veerans by a close margin of two points. Pride will not lose hope and look to come back on a winning run as quickly as possible.
Probable starting lineup:
Periyar Panthers: Subham Bhidhuri, Krishan Nagar, Arpit Nagar, Shobhit Bhati, Abhishek Nagar,Kun al Bhati, Ravi Bhati
Panchala Pride: Ravi Saket, Rahul Kumar, Amish Rathee, Premander Boora, Vikash Kumar, Prince Kumar, Rohit Rathee
Top picks:
Ravi Saket, Rahul Kumar, Subham Bhidhuri, Krishan Nagar
Super Sub: Ashish Bhati will be the Super Sub of the day. The left raider now has played over seven games in the league and his coaches have brought him well to the speed. He has scored 53 raid points and is building up some important cameos for his side. His eight points performance in his last game cant be ignored by the rival coaches as well.
Raiders: We will be with a Front-2 that will have the flamboyant Boora as the leading raider. He is the second-highest scorer for the current season with 142 raid points in 17 games. He has attempted over 252 raids, clearly not among the ones to shy away from a challenge. Subham had his game of the season against the Arrows scoring a whopping 14 raid points, a well-deserved super 10, and taking his tally to 38 points for the season. Fun fact is that he just had 24 points in 13 games for his big Super 10.
Defenders: Krishan Nagar and Shobit will have a real go against scoring more tackle points on the match day. Krishan has been coming back with big high 5 performances in the booster round and did the same against the Arrows in the first game of the Challenger round. With this, he sits as the third-highest player for tackle points with 73. Shobit is the new kid on the block and has already scored 15 tackle points. Rahul Kumar once again provided a more all-around performance against the Veerans. He has been a high-scoring defender who will take out more defenders than raiders off the mat. He has 12 tackles but over 60 raid points, the left corner certainly likes to put out raids.
All-Rounders: Ravi Saket has become a permanent member of our fantasy 7. Ravi Saket is the real pride if Pride has ambitions to reach the summit this season. He is just five points away from a century in terms of raid points. His teammate Amish will look after the defensive duty, just coming back from scoring a high five, you cant tell by his game that its his debut season. With just five games played so far and scored 18 tackle points. An average of over three tackle points per game.
Captain and vice-captain pick: Ravi Saket will continue to captain our side, with Krishan giving way to him and settling in as the Vice-Captain providing cover at the back.
